Wouldn't think it was sturdy, but it is.
Bought this pergola last year and was able to setup most of it by myself. Total job took about 2.5 hours. Instructions had no words, only pictures but it was simple enough to put together. The pergola doesn't look strong and I was concerned that it would flex or bend in high winds. However, it's stood the test and has been through heavy downpours, hail, heavy winds and snow without issue. I do remove the canvas in the winter to avoid leaves or water accumulation. For the price, great little pergola.

I would highly recommend this Purple Leaf Lourvered Pergola. We love that it can open and close so we can still enjoy our hot tub if it is raining. It was easy for my husband to put it together by himself. I also can’t say enough about the customer service we received from Purple Leaf. Every time I emailed a question they responded right away and was always able to answer my questions. Extremely happy with this purchase

I love the wood grain texture
You really can¡¯t beat this for the price. This fit my patio area perfectly and the canopy is nice and shaded! It was pretty easy to set up. The only tricky part was figuring out the correct way the canopy attaches to the posts. You¡¯ll need three step ladders for the job and 3 people for the canopy install. I love the wood grain texture and can¡¯t wait to fully enjoy it this fall!
