I purchased the base and the 8X8 umbrella. Setup was pretty easy. I was able to do it by myself. I filled the base with sand and water. Took a little while to fill with sand but was not that difficult. Operation of the umbrella is simple and easy. I’m very pleased with this umbrella and base and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an umbrella and base.

My 9'x9' umbrella is mounted/weighted using their Zybase 7 underground umbrella base, which I highly recommend if you have the application for it. The tilt and raise mechanism is so easy to use. It just glides with very little effort. Also easy to rotate with the foot pedal. I love this thing! It's a genius design and great quality for this price!!!
