In ground base

The base is good.
It took (20) - 60 pound of bags of concrete to fill the hole….it’s solid.

Stable and well constructed

It takes a good size hole and a minimum of 500# of concrete (depending on how oversized your hole is), but the confidence is real that my 12'x12' umbrella is not going anywhere.

Great Option for Mounting

The base is a great mounting option if you do not want a huge above ground weight. It is out of sight and inconspicuous. Hills the umbrella very well, much better than any weighted base.

This base requires a large hole and approximately 500 # of cement. That’s not mentioned in the online ad. Does provide a very secure base for the 9 X 12 cantilever umbrella. So far holds up well in a substantial breeze.

Cantilevered umbrella

The umbrella base was fine, the umbrella however is a terrible disappointment…it broke within the first week…it’s very cheaply made and cant even handle the gentlest of breezes…..
