Great looking building!

The building is quite sturdy once assembly is complete. The size quoted is incorrect. I ordered a 12’x14’ building. What I received was a 11’x13’ solarium. For the money, I would have expected the correct size. The windows are a vinyl sheet, not the plexiglass that the price would dictate. Overall I’m happy with the product. Only time will tell if it holds up!

Actually turned out as pictured!

After looking around for a screened in hard top gazebo, I found this Purple Leaf gazeb that seemed to fit the bill for size and quality. Unfortunately, they were out of stock and initially when I called the company they thought it wouldn’t be until spring that they received a new supply. I was pleasantly surprised when they emailed me that they were back in stock at the end of August/September.

This is not a cheap gazebo and it ran me about $5500, but it really does look nice. The product shipped after about 5 days and arrived a week later. Thankfully the trucking company agreed to pallet jack it into my garage because the entire gazebo weighs about 600 lbs. I was very concerned that when the product arrived it would have a lot of bent metal, but I was surprised that it was all in good condition and had been packaged well. I did have to bend a few pieces to get them to fit together right, but it wasn’t anything difficult and could be done with a crescent wrench clamp onto the piece.

The directions are clear and I would recommend following them closely, especially when it comes to putting the ceiling panels in. If you don’t you will fight with them and they will not seat as expected. Also, be sure to wear some type of rubber coated gloves to keep from cutting yourself and keep your grip (I used some gardening gloves). The instructions recommend using two people to assemble the gazebo, but I’m the stubborn type and did it by myself. It is do-able, but can be challenging. It took me about 4 six-hour days to put it together.

It honestly turned out very well. The only changes I would make would be to add an option for battery-powered LED lights to be plugged into a power source so you don’t have to change batteries so often. I would also include slightly longer bolts for the center beams where they attach to the wall header. I was able to get three of them with some effort, but the fourth is still challenging me. Lastly, I might add some type of waterproof washer for the ceiling panel bolts… I didn’t want to crank them down too hard and distort the ceiling panels, so there is a fine line for tightening them. I might end up using some type of silicone sealer to be sure there are no drips, but it hasn’t been a big problem thus far.

Anyway, if you can choke down the expense, you really do get what you paid for and I have gotten many compliments on it so far. Hope this is helpful for anyone looking to buy one.
