HOW TO CLEAN PATIO CONVERSATION SET

Each piece in our collection is carefully crafted with premium materials and expert workmanship, designed to balance durability, comfort, and outdoor performance. While our conversation set is made to withstand changing weather conditions, natural wear may occur with regular use.

Proper care and maintenance will help extend the life of your conversation set—please follow the cleaning and care guidelines below.

• Regular cleaning is important to keep your conversation set looking their best.
• We strongly recommend using conversation set covers or moving into covered storage when items are not in use during heavy rain, winter, and other periods of inclement weather.
• Conversation set, and cushions should be clean and dry before covering or storing.
• Wet cushions should be removed from the frame and air dried to prevent mold and mildew.
• Avoid letting liquids stand on the surface of conversation set and cushions.
• Do not put hot items directly on conversation set surface.
• Do not write on conversation set without a padded barrier to protect the surface.
• Do not leave your conversation set in puddles of water or on wet ground.

MAINTENANCE

• Regular Dusting and Dirt Removal: Periodically dust off your cushions and fabric surfaces to prevent dirt buildup. A gentle brush or vacuum with an upholstery attachment works well for this.
• Immediate Spill Wiping: Quickly wipe up spills as soon as they happen to prevent stains from setting in. Use a clean cloth or paper towel to blot the area, not rub it.
• Spot Cleaning Stains: For stubborn stains, spot clean promptly with a mild detergent or fabric cleaner. Test in a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure fabric compatibility.
• Wash Removable Cushion Covers: For products with removable cushion covers, hand washing is recommended.If machine washing is necessary, please use a laundry bag, select a gentle cycle with cold water, and use a mild detergent.Always air dry to help maintain the shape and quality of the fabric.
• Proper Storage: After washing or use, ensure cushion covers are properly air-dried to keep them dry and maintain their shape.

MAINTENANCE

• Routine Cleaning: Regularly dust off or brush away loose dirt and debris from the fabric surface to prevent buildup. If deeper cleaning is needed, prepare a mild cleaning solution using a gentle liquid detergent mixed with lukewarm water. Clean the surface using a sponge or soft-bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all detergent residues. Allow the fabric to AIR DRY NATURALLY after cleaning.
• Spot Cleaning: For localized stains, mix a small amount of mild liquid detergent with water in a spray bottle. Spray directly onto the stained area and gently clean using a sponge or soft-bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly to ensure all cleaning solution is removed. Blot excess moisture with a clean, soft towel or sponge. Allow the fabric to AIR DRY NATURALLY.
• Removable Sunbrella® Fabric – Hand Washing: Prepare a cleaning solution using mild liquid detergent and lukewarm water. If necessary, use a sponge or soft-bristle brush to gently clean the fabric. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all detergent residues. After washing, allow the fabric to AIR DRY NATURALLY.
• Removable Sunbrella® Fabric – Machine Washing: Machine wash in cold water using an appropriate amount of mild liquid detergent based on load size. After washing, remove promptly and allow the fabric to AIR DRY NATURALLY.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR SUNBRELLA® FABRIC CARE

• Always use mild liquid detergents such as laundry detergent or mild dish soap.
• Use cold or lukewarm water only (DO NOT exceed 38°C / 100°F).
• Rinse thoroughly to remove all cleaning solution and detergent residues.
• Allow fabric to AIR DRY NATURALLY ONLY. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY Sunbrella® fabrics.
• If the fabric becomes wrinkled, it may be ironed if necessary. Set the iron to the lowest “synthetic” setting only. The temperature should generally not exceed 66°C / 150°F. Please note that some irons’ “synthetic” setting may exceed the recommended temperature, so always test on an inconspicuous area before ironing the entire fabric.
• DO NOT use a steam iron or set the iron to steam mode.

POLYPROPYLENE FABRIC, OLEFIN FABRIC & TEXTILENE

CHARACTERISTIC

• Polypropylene Fabric: A strong and durable synthetic fabric known for its resistance to moisture and everyday wear. It provides reliable performance and comfort for outdoor seating.
• Olefin Fabric: Crafted from solution-dyed fibers, olefin fabric delivers excellent resistance to fading, moisture, and stains. Soft to the touch yet highly durable, it is ideal for outdoor cushions.
• Textilene: A lightweight synthetic fabric made from polyester yarn coated with PVC. It is breathable, quick-drying, and commonly used for chairs and loungers requiring flexible support.

MAINTENANCE

• Regular Dusting: Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust, dirt, and debris from the surface of your conversation set.
• Remove Stubborn Dirt: For dirt buildup, use a non-metallic soft-bristle brush to gently scrub the surface.
• Spot Cleaning: For light cleaning, rinse the surface with a garden hose to remove debris, then dry with a soft cloth.
• Deep Cleaning: Mix mild soap with water and clean the surface using a non-metallic soft-bristle brush to remove stains or accumulated dirt.
• Rinse and Dry: After cleaning with soap, rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.

MATERIAL-SPECIFIC MAINTENANCE TIPS

• Polypropylene Fabric: Clean gently with mild soap and water. Avoid aggressive scrubbing and allow the fabric to air dry naturally to maintain its texture and appearance.
• Olefin Fabric: Highly resistant to fading and moisture, yet best protected by storing cushions indoors during prolonged rain or extreme weather conditions.
• Textilene: Rinse or wipe gently with clean water. Do not use metal brushes or sharp tools. Its breathable, quick-drying structure makes routine maintenance easy.

CHARACTERISTIC

Made from polyethylene, PE rattan offers the classic woven look of natural rattan with improved durability and weather resistance. It is designed for outdoor use and requires minimal maintenance.

MAINTENANCE

For daily cleaning, use a soft duster to gently remove surface dust. As needed, wipe the frame with a soft cloth dampened with clean water. For stubborn dirt, apply a mild, non-abrasive detergent.

MATERIAL-SPECIFIC MAINTENANCE TIPS

Clean regularly to prevent dust from collecting between woven strands. Avoid pressure washers or abrasive tools, as they may damage the woven surface.
