I bought a 14 ft by 24 ft Grey frame with white Louvered roof. It was assembled yesterday and bolted down with included expansion screws into my cement footings today. The louvers open and close easily. I am so satisfied with this pergola. Purpleleaf company makes a quality product. Mine shipped in 10 boxes within 3 days. I had a few questions for Purpleleaf and they answered my emails quickly, precisely, and to the point. The pergola has made sitting outside a much cooler pleasure. I just love my pergola. So glad I bought a Purpleleaf pergola. I am looking forward to next summer and 115°+ as I am ready and prepared now. I understand that with rain or high winds it is recommended to open louvers but not mandatory. With the louvers open, you can see the stars at night.

Perfect Pergola
The Pergola was easy to set up, just my wife and myself. For the deck just right. It was exactly what we were looking for. Customer service was great. There was some Minor damage in shipping but they replaced the pieces quickly. Very good experience.

I bought the 11x15' louvered pergola in white. The quality seems to be good, but time will tell how they'll hold up. Customer service was excellent, they answered all my questions and shipped the item quickly. My wife and I assembled it in a day (took about 10 hours). There were no major issues, but one of screw hole didn't line up when installing the center beam at the end. I had to loosen some other screen to line it up and tighten them back up. Couple of caveats...wish they would've included a skirt for the post. Had to buy a set of 4 from Decksgo ( (4-¼' x 4-¼') Also, they didn't sell a led light for this size, so I got the samsion 65.6FT COB Led light strip from amazon and installed it myself. Looks great!

We purchased this umbrella to use around our pool area. They are very well constructed compared to the last umbrellas we purchased.
Quality product, great customer service
I purchased the 12x16 pergola and it is a great fit for my space. It was fairly easy to assemble with 2 people, but an extra person or second ladder is definitely useful for standing up and connecting the frame. I did have issues getting the screws in all the way on a copule of the corner covers (which support offered to send replacements for) but I ended up working around it with a couple of packs of washers from Home Depot. Being made of aluminum, the pergola is pretty lightweight overall which made it easy to shift and square up after it was assembled, but it does feel sturdy once anchored down. Speaking of support, I was blown away with the level of customer service I received. They sent me a diagram with detailed measurements before ordering so I was able to start digging my footers and followed up after I placed my order to make sure I received everything. A couple of the louvres got damaged in transit and they promptly sent me some replacements in very sturdy plastic packaging to ensure they arrived safely. They also consistently followed up with me to ensure that I was able to get everything assembled.

Three aged 60ish homeowners put up the 11 x 13 in about 3 hours. We used special bolts to attach it to our raised deck that gets SO hot we can't sit out there. I could not be more impressed with the engineering and quality of this pergola. It has one small leak when raining right in the middle but it stayed dry for 3 days of rain besides that puddle. A couple of parts were damaged during shipping and quickly replaced by the excellent customer service at Purple Leaf. I ONE THOUSAND percent recommend this pergola!!! AND THIS COMPANY!!

It's a beautiful upgrade to our backyard. I won't say it's a single person project, if you have a handy man it may be quick and immensely helpful. It pretty rain proof, very elegant and top notch quality. Customer Support is great as well. Overall we are super happy with the experience.

Really had an amazing experience with this pergola, from pre-sale until it was setup. PurpleLeaf support helped me with build questions BEFORE I purchased. Email them, they reply and they're great. Product was damaged in shipping by Fedex and they shipped another version of everything that was slightly damaged. We had to wait several months to build it and found MORE damaged parts when we finally finished. They were responsive and shipped us everything we needed. I wanted more of the drop-down shades, they EMAILED me when they were in stock - by hand, nothing automated. Great product, incredible support. I can't recommend enough

I’m delighted to leave a positive review of the PURPLE LEAF Louvered Pergola, Modern White, with an adjustable roof and light kit that I purchased. This pergola looks amazing and really helps block the sun on my deck. In the past, we haven’t been able to use our deck much because it gets direct sunlight for the majority of the day. With our new pergola, we can now use the deck throughout the day, even when it’s raining. I can’t say enough good things about the pergola and the customer service at PURPLE LEAF. The installation was fast and simple. I hired a contractor to install it. The contractor said the instructions were simple, and they had the structure up within an hour. I did have a problem with the light kit: a few light strips were missing. I contacted PURPLE LEAF via email at pergola@purpleleafgarden.com and received a response within 24 hours. Customer service asked me to specify which light strip was missing. I was unsure because the contractor didn’t specify; he just explained what he had already installed. Based on the information I provided, the customer service agent sent the light strips he estimated were missing and included an extra just in case. I also explained that my contractor wanted to finish the job within five days, and they graciously accommodated us with rush shipping. My contractor finished the job, and the lights look great and complement the pergola very well. At night, the lights create an amazing look for our deck. The customer service agent followed up with me a week after to make sure I was happy with the solution to the missing light scripts. In this day and time, it's unusual to have a company that has great customer service protocols. Thank you, Purple Leaf for supporting your customers after purchasing.
